Facilities & Staff

Purpose-built centre

Our architect-designed, insulated, air-conditioned long day care centre caters for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. We are open 52 weeks per year, from 6.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. Monday to Friday (public holidays excepted). We also provide limited before, after school and vacation care for siblings of the children in our service. Our centre is safe with quality furniture, fittings, toys, sandpits, age-appropriate playground equipment and playground coverings. We are committed to sustainability and use recycled/grey water for gardens and toilets. We have extensive gardens both within the service and also in our car park area (near our frog pond). Our children grow herbs and seasonal vegetables. Our goal is to make our centre a haven for our children. Our child care centre is secure with an access code needed for entry. Each room has its own connecting bathroom, kitchenette and art preparation area, enabling us to provide hands-on experiences for children with full supervision at all times.

Qualified staff

We pride ourselves on the quality of our staff. Our Nominated Supervisor (director) and lead educators have a minimum diploma qualification or are studying towards this. Every member of our team is encouraged to enhance their skills and knowledge through training and professional development which is offered throughout the year. Our staff are handpicked first and foremost for their calm and caring dispositions and their experience. Our team holds current Blue Cards and First Aid, CPR and asthma and anaphylaxis qualifications. Our Nominated Supervisor, Early Childhood Teacher, Educational Leaders and the team as a whole work together with parents and children to ensure quality program delivery and outcomes for children.

Room Configurations Promote the Best Outcomes for Children

We are currently a 93 place centre with 6 rooms. This allows flexibility across age groups and enables us to meet the needs of children and families as much as possible.
